Description
Seeds M6585 Parsnip - Pride of Europe
Great for growing in the smaller garden. This variety has been improved disease resistance and, what many believe to be, a superior and more intense flavour.
- How to Sow: Choose a sheltered, well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 2 cm apart, in rows 30 cm apart and to a depth of 1 cm.
- Seedling Care: Keep the seedbed evenly moist during the germination period of 21-28 days. Apply fruit fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products.
- Hints and Tips: These short, stubby parsnips are great for growing where conditions are not suitable for larger varieties.
- Our seeds are not treated with Neonicotinoids.
- These seeds are not pasteurised.
