Seeds M6105 Beetroot - Bulls Blood
These beets can be used as normal, and the scrumptious leaves can be used as a garnish or in salads. A lovely visual element to salads and preserves and the deep red leaves are great in mesclun mixes and micro salads.
Product Care: Keep seedbed or tray evenly moist during germination period. Germination period is between 7-14 days.
When to Sow: Spring - Summer - Autumn
Where to Sow: Into trays for subsequent transplanting or after frosts, sow direct where to grow.

General: 30-40 days until the baby leaves can be harvested for scrumptious additions to salads. The large roots can be harvested after 50-60 days. They contain twice as much natural sugar as corn, carrots and tomatoes.

Where to Grow: In a sheltered, well drained site in full sun.
Vegetable Maturity Date: This variety matures in 50-60 days.
How to Sow: Place seeds 3cm apart, 1cm deep, in rows 40cm apart.

Hits & Tips: Best to thin your beets by selectively harvesting crowded plants. Leaves can be plucked and used in salads. For winter crop always sow early enough in late summer-autumn to allow good plant establishment before the cold sets in.
